Primitive War Creature Design Color Studies

A collection of color studies I’ve developed for the ‘Primitive War’ series, with animals featured in ‘Primitive War: Animus Infernal,’ ‘Primitive War Dispatches Vol 2: The Plague of Xipetotec,’ and the upcoming “Primitive War 3.”

Old, scarred and highly aggressive, Goliath the Carcharodontosaur is a lone wolf; seen with no other individuals of his species until spotted hunting the same prey as Gaia.

Old, scarred and highly aggressive, Goliath the Carcharodontosaur is a lone wolf; seen with no other individuals of his species until spotted hunting the same prey as Gaia.

Found in the African Savannah, Gaia the Carcharodontosaurus has been documented to aggressively fend off any potential danger to her offspring, "Prometheus," even from the likes of Goliath.

Known for their ghost-like "hooting" cry,  the Dilophosaurus is an elusive theropod. As of this recording, no documented cases of attacks on people have occurred, just stories of the "Chupacabra," killing livestock in the mountain towns of Colorado.

Labeled as the fastest of the variants, the Citrinitas raptor sports feathers similar to an Ostrich, and uses it's enlarged talons an sickle claws to grapple with prey at close range.

The unintended result of an experiment in gene editing, this raptor and its clan were mutated by the DM-13 (Dromaeosaurid Mutagen) disease,  resulting in loss of feathers, blindness, loss of mental acuity loss of group orientation, and weeping ulcers.
